Male Shooting Victim hospitalized after being struck on redondo
A shooting on Redondo Friday evening resulted in one person being transported to the hospital in unknown condition . The person was shot on Redondo Avenue near Hill Avenue.
A young man is in critical condition following a shooting Friday evening in south Toledo, according to the Toledo Police Department.
Officers responded to the area of Clifton Drive and Redondo Drive, where they located approximately five to eight shell casings. Police say the victim had already been placed in a private vehicle and was being taken from the scene when officers stopped the car on Hill Avenue, just a short distance away.
The victim, described as a male in his late teens, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the leg and was transported to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment. The exact number of wounds has not yet been confirmed, but police report that he remains in critical condition. Toledo Police Department have not released the name of the victim.
